In 2018 viert De Nationale Voorleeswedstrijd feest: de grootste leesbevorderingswedstrijd van Nederland vindt dit jaar voor de 25e keer plaats. Van de bijna 233.000 deelnemers zijn er 3.474 kinderen tot voorleeskampioen van hun school gekroond tijdens de schoolrondes van de wedstrijd.
