De hele wereld is in shock als multitalent Roscoe Mulder onverwachts overlijdt. Tegen wil en dank doorgebroken als superheld in een hitserie, zat Roscoe nog boordevol plannen en ideeën: schrijver wilde hij zijn, en fotograaf, en muzikant.

Valerie is getrouwd met haar grote liefde Oscar. Samen hebben ze een zoon, de inmiddels 12-jarige Mick. Valerie heeft veel te danken aan Oscar. Hij heeft haar als het ware bevrijd van haar voorspelbare leven. Maar nu lijkt hij zich te willen bevrijden van Valerie en Mick.

Op een zonnige middag in Breda zaten Chantal en Priscilla van Gastel op het terras, omringd door zes enthousiaste boekbloggers vol vragen. Hun eerste boek ‘Zonder jou’ was net verschenen en dat moest gevierd worden. Ik was een van de bloggers die daarbij aanwezig mocht zijn.
